 Plaster Mesh is manufactured from prime quality steel sheets that are slit and expanded to form small diamond shaped openings (over 10,000 per square yard). This large number of openings provides more plaster keys than any other type of lathing material. This allows for better stucco bonding in either pumped or troweled applications. Each sheet has square ends and smooth parallel edges for fast, easy handling and installation; and can be readily bent for curved surfaces. Plaster mesh is made of thin galvanized steel strip, pressed and expanded by automatic mesh plaster production line equipment.
This plaster mesh is widely used in many plaster projects, such as high-rise construction, civic building, and workshop and so on. And it has the advantage of strong adhesive force, crack resistance, shake proof, etc. It is also used in industry, water conservancy, government, transport, road administration, capital construction, etc.

Method of Installation
1. Fix the Screen:
If on the wood bracket, please use the nail with length of 11 gauges 1-1/2", and 7/16";
If on overwritten wood bracket, please use 3/4"round head nail,14 gauge, 1.5"end, etc;If on metal bracket, please add round head screw by self drilling or electric motor and we should obey the operating instructions.
2. Fix the Interval
The largest interval is 6"(horizontally or vertically).
Note: Round head nails should not be used in the ceiling.
3. Span Limitation
Every decorating material has span limitation, that is, the maximum distance among brackets. If without covering board, the maximum distance among brackets is 16". The maximum distance could be 24".
Note: There should be 1/4" between mesh board and vertical bracket or the firm surface.
4. To Trim into Suitable Sizes
We can trim by standard metal shear. Or we can use fretsaw with metal blades to trim the mesh sheet.
5. To Tie the Wire
We should bind wire at the side, end and joint of the mesh sheet 9" from the center. This is only used when covering with veneer.
6. Accessories
Flashing board should be used when fixing the mesh sheet and pour plaster on the wall. Flashing board and reverse flashing board should be placed on the ones full of finished plaster dope at the intersections of flat roof (such as, pier nose, side wall, the top of wall, etc).
7. Notices:
Mesh sheet accessories will make the installation more easy and efficient. To make sure this function, the accessories should be strengthened with nails, round head nails or binding wire every 18".
8. The Repair of Fracture
We can control the fracture by dilatation joint. The dilatation joint is fixed among the mesh sheet display after cut by dilatation joint.
We should fix the dilatation joint on the mesh sheet. The distance between the wall using the plaster meshes and dilatation joint of the ceiling should be 18 inches, or at different wall position, etc.
